## How to read these records

### Which companies

External companies whose status in the CRO open file is “Ceased IRL” or “Ceased”, with a status date in 2020 or
later. Health-care companies and companies named after a person are left out.

### What the record does not say

Why the branch closed, where the business went, and how many people it employed in Ireland.

### What is not here

Names of directors or any individual. Street addresses. Irish companies, which are on the other sites.

**Did this company close its Irish operation?**

The internal data of a company that employed 50 people or more (Slack or Microsoft Teams archive, documentation, project histories) may still have value after it has stopped operating.
